Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans, adjusting them as necessary throughout the academic year
- Adapt teaching methods to support varied learning needs and abilities
- Keep thorough and up-to-date records of each student's academic performance and development
- Apply research-supported instructional strategies in daily lesson design and delivery
- Maintain consistent and constructive classroom behavior management
- Foster an encouraging and productive learning atmosphere
- Use approved curricula that respects and reflects students’ diverse cultural, linguistic, and educational backgrounds
- Uphold established school-wide behavioral and cultural standards
- Engage with families through communication and meetings to discuss student progress
- Integrate technology into everyday instruction to enhance learning outcomes
- Support the organization and execution of non-academic school activities when required
- Work collaboratively with fellow educators and staff
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by administration
