Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain enterprise-level SharePoint Online platforms
- Handle site collections, hub sites, site lifecycle management, and external sharing configurations
- Enforce governance standards, security protocols, compliance requirements, and Microsoft best practices
- Set up and manage access permissions, data retention rules, DLP policies, sensitivity labels, and audit logging
- Automate routine administrative functions using PowerShell and PnP PowerShell scripts
- Support integration between SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and Power Platform services
- Lead or assist in migration initiatives, including on-premises to cloud and cross-tenant transitions
- Serve as advanced support tier for complex SharePoint and Microsoft 365 technical issues
- Diagnose and resolve performance, access, security, and configuration problems
- Guide junior administrators and work with cross-functional teams to align solutions
- Keep updated documentation, operational procedures, and governance frameworks
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of direct experience in SharePoint administration
- Extensive knowledge of SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 ecosystem
- Proven ability to automate administrative tasks using PowerShell or PnP PowerShell
- Strong grasp of security policies, compliance standards, governance models, and enterprise controls
- Demonstrated involvement in SharePoint migration projects
- Experience working in large, enterprise-grade or regulated environments
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder coordination abilities
- Self-driven leadership style with a focus on identifying and resolving issues
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with SharePoint On-Premises versions 2016 or 2019
- Understanding of Power Platform, Azure AD (Entra ID), and Teams administration
- Hold relevant Microsoft 365 or SharePoint certifications
