Societe Generale is hiring a Techno-functional Analyst - BA Credit Risk to join our team in Bangalore. This role focuses on the Credit Risk domain and IT Business Analysis, requiring you to understand critical risk metrics and regulations, and perform business analysis to convert requirements into functional specifications.
What You'll Do
- Understand Credit Risk Metrics such as PD, LGD, RWA, and ECL.
- Work on key regulations including BASEL, IFRS 9, CRR2, and Large Exposure.
- Handle Credit Risk Calculation, Reporting, Data Management, and Modelling.
- Understand Business Requirements (BRD) and convert them into Functional Specifications (FSD).
- Work with developers to implement requirements within the system.
- Validate requirements and obtain stakeholder sign-off.
- Write basic queries using SQL functions, joins, and other techniques.
- Understand the test life cycle and work with automated testing tools.
- Follow Agile methodology practices such as grooming, prioritization, planning, and demos.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of relevant Business Analysis experience.
- Clear understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and a process-oriented mindset.
- Strong fundamentals in Investment Banking and Capital Markets.
- Strong Data Analysis skills and familiarity with core data principles.
- Experience in SQL and MS Excel at an intermediate to advanced level.
- Exposure to Agile methodology, including requirements capture via use cases, feature-driven methods, and participation in ceremonies.
- Experience identifying and executing test strategies, test plans, and functional test cases.
- Experience preparing and conducting functional reviews and training sessions.
- Capability to work with customers and cross-location teams to establish and maintain consistent delivery.
- Ability to work closely in a team environment.
- Strong documentation skills.
- Ability to listen, analyze user requirements, and implement quick solutions.
