Sedgwick is hiring a Technical Standards & Compliance Advisor to ensure product quality and compliance with regulatory requirements. This role serves as a key resource to office operations to achieve timely and accurate delivery of benefits, mitigating penalties and legal exposures.
What You'll Do
- Develop and review management reports related to claim processes or decisions subject to legal and regulatory compliance.
- Develop training programs and technical support material to monitor and prevent legal and regulatory claim handling exposures.
- Consult with Sedgwick University in the development and delivery of training programs.
- Participate in round table review of claim strategy and make recommendations consistent with legally compliant file handling standards.
- Assist with projects focused on process, procedural and/or compliance changes and updates.
- Prepare offices for regulatory audits, participate in debriefings, and assist in the development of rebuttal positions.
- Act as a liaison to state auditors and operations.
- Educate colleagues, managers, and clients regarding state regulatory matters and assist with the resolution of regulatory and compliance issues.
- Work closely with internal quality programs and practice leads to share information and prepare mitigation strategies.
- Ensure consistent adoption of required forms, procedures, and legally compliant practices by all business unit offices.
- Support the organization's quality programs.
- Travel as required.
What We're Looking For
- Ten (10) years of claims management and/or other related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Workers Compensation experience required, specifically in Oregon.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university preferred.
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation range: $73,000 - $90,000

Work Mode
This is a hybrid position open to candidates in Oregon, Washington, and California.
