Role Overview
As a Technical Service Engineer, you will perform on-site evaluations of lubrication systems, conduct energy efficiency audits, and assess maintenance practices. Your work will directly inform actionable recommendations that improve operational performance and reliability for industrial clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out field visits to evaluate lubrication strategies, equipment conditions, and system efficiency, including energy-saving initiatives
- Prepare detailed technical reports with practical improvement suggestions based on site findings
- Diagnose lubrication-related issues using analytical methods and industry best practices
- Deliver training sessions and participate in technical seminars to support customer knowledge development
- Identify potential technical solutions that align with customer needs and operational goals
- Document all customer interactions thoroughly and maintain up-to-date records in CRM systems
- Plan and manage weekly field schedules, aiming for approximately three days per week on customer sites
- Communicate market trends and technical observations to internal sales and engineering teams
- Collaborate with sales during customer meetings by providing technical assessments and follow-up recommendations
- Represent the company at industry events and contribute to special technical projects as needed
Required Qualifications
- Proven ability to work independently with strong organizational and time management skills
- Approachable demeanor with a focus on building professional trust and long-term relationships
- Fluent in both written and spoken Dutch and English
- Sound knowledge of industrial machinery, lubrication principles, and maintenance systems
- Ability to connect technical details to business outcomes and operational efficiency
- Confident in leading technical discussions and presenting complex information clearly
- Willingness to travel frequently within Benelux and internationally for customer support and training
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of French is considered an advantage
