We're seeking an experienced Technical Sales Specialist to join our APAC Channel Sales Team. Your primary mission will be empowering partners and enterprise clients by unlocking ShareGate's full technical potential. You'll drive product adoption, enable success, and deliver exceptional experiences consistently. As the primary technical point of contact for APAC partners, you'll provide consultation, enablement, and insights that foster long-term growth. You'll work cross-functionally, solve complex challenges, and ensure partners are confident and well-equipped. Responsibilities: - Serve as the go-to technical expert for APAC partners in pre-sales and ongoing partner success - Deliver training, product demonstrations, and enablement sessions - Support partners with upgrades, integrations, and implementation projects - Facilitate regular business and technical reviews to identify opportunities and risks - Collaborate with internal teams to relay partner feedback and contribute to product strategy - Proactively identify methods to drive greater product adoption and long-term success - Represent ShareGate at partner meetings, industry events, conferences, and webinars Typical Weekly Activities: - Conducting enablement workshops and product demonstrations - Providing technical support for complex partner inquiries - Collaborating with Product, Marketing, Channel, and Support teams - Attending virtual or in-person partner meetings - Documenting insights to inform future roadmap and engagement plans Team Structure: The Global ShareGate Channel team comprises: - Five Channel Account Managers with migration software expertise - Three Technical Sales Specialists - Two Regional Channel Sales leaders - One Distribution Channel Manager - One Partner Development Manager The team will collaborate to adapt quickly, build trust, and deliver meaningful impact across the APAC partner ecosystem. Upcoming Challenges: - Scaling technical enablement across diverse countries and partner profiles - Tailoring technical messaging to evolving business models - Establishing a recognized technical voice in the partner community Qualifications: - 5+ years in Technical Account Management, Sales Engineering, or Support Engineering - Advanced Microsoft 365 and/or Google Workspace administration knowledge - Strong partner orientation and priority management skills - Excellent English communication abilities - Confident explaining technical concepts to diverse audiences - Experience working independently across multiple time zones - Highly organized and proactive - Comfortable in external-facing engagements - Japanese fluency (preferred) About Workleap: We're a team of curious, bold builders driven to simplify work.
