Responsibilities
- Own the full recruiting cycle — sourcing, screening, interviewing, closing. You run your reqs like a business.
- Hire globally — We don't limit searches to one geography. You'll find the best talent wherever they are.
- Partner deeply with hiring managers — Understand the tech, the team dynamics, and what "great" looks like for each role.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience — Every interaction reflects who we are. Candidates should want to join even if they don't get the offer.
- Tell the Telnyx story — You're a brand ambassador. You'll articulate our mission, culture, and why Voice AI infrastructure matters.
- Optimize with data — Track your pipeline, measure what works, and continuously improve how we hire.
- Build a diverse team — We believe diverse perspectives build better products. You'll actively source from underrepresented talent pools.
Requirements
- 3+ years in technical recruiting, ideally at a high-growth startup or tech company
- Proven track record hiring engineers globally — you know how to close top talent in competitive markets
- Startup DNA — you're adaptable, pragmatic, and take ownership of outcomes (not just activity)
- Creative sourcer — you go beyond LinkedIn to find hidden talent through communities, events, and unconventional channels
- Strong communicator who can translate technical roles into compelling opportunities
- Data-minded — you use metrics to inform decisions, not just report on them
Nice to Have
- Experience recruiting for telecom, CPaaS, UCaaS, or infrastructure companies
- Greenhouse power user
- You've hired for platform engineering, real-time systems, or AI/ML roles
