Hire Overseas seeks a Technical Project Manager (IT & Infrastructure) to support the delivery of critical infrastructure, security, and internal systems initiatives across our fast-moving AI-native healthcare platform. This is a high-ownership role where you will work directly alongside engineers and IT leadership to coordinate complex technical workstreams, manage dependencies, and keep execution visible and accountable.
What You'll Do
- Translate ambiguous executive direction into structured execution plans with clear milestones, ownership, and dependencies.
- Own end-to-end project timelines and drive accountability across stakeholders without being asked.
- Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks before they become blockers.
- Escalate thoughtfully and with context when situations require leadership input.
- Maintain documentation and visibility systems that enable repeatable, consistent execution.
- Partner with engineering and IT leads to break technical initiatives into executable project plans.
- Track technical dependencies across infrastructure, vendors, and internal teams.
- Coordinate delivery timelines for technical implementations and rollouts.
- Ensure technical decisions and risks are documented and communicated clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate status across remediation boards and visibility systems so leadership never has to chase updates.
- Lead project meetings and synthesize discussions into clear action items and written summaries.
- Communicate clearly with internal teams and external vendors throughout delivery.
- Translate engineering and IT progress into plain language updates for leadership and cross-functional partners.
- Own security remediation programs and infrastructure improvements.
- Own cloud environment buildouts and internal platform rollouts.
- Own device management initiatives including tablets, endpoints, and related tooling.
- Own IT tooling implementations and vendor integrations.
- Own internal system migrations and operational infrastructure upgrades.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience owning complex cross-functional technical projects.
- Demonstrated background in at least one of the following: IT system rollouts, security or compliance programs, internal platform migrations, or technical vendor implementations.
- Proven ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments without a defined playbook.
- Strong written communication with high attention to detail.
- Track record of driving stakeholders and maintaining accountability without heavy oversight.
- Comfort working directly alongside engineers and IT specialists.
- Ability to understand technical discussions around infrastructure, security, and systems and translate them into clear plans and progress updates.
- High ownership mindset and bias toward action over process.
Nice to Have
- Experience inside a healthcare, healthtech, or regulated industry environment.
- Familiarity with security frameworks or compliance programs such as SOC 2, HIPAA, or similar.
- Experience managing device management or endpoint rollout programs.
- Background working in an early-stage or high-growth startup.
