F5 is hiring a Technical Program Manager Intern in our Spokane office. At F5, we strive to bring a better digital world to life by focusing on cybersecurity and the people who power it. In this role, you will be a key member of the Project Management Organization (PMO), representing both developers and stakeholders while collaborating closely with Product Management, architects, and operations to define, prioritize, and deliver projects aligned with customer needs.
What You'll Do
- Engage and participate in all Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
- Monitor project progress and design recovery strategies if deviations from the baseline plan occur.
- Assemble and publish effective status reports tailored to a variety of audiences.
- Design and deliver presentations to support the governance process for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
- Collaborate with peers, managers, and team members across the organization to solve problems, develop plans, and coordinate work.
What We're Looking For
- A current student enrolled in a technical discipline at a university or college pursuing a Bachelors or Masters in the US.
- Completed a Data Structures course in a modern, object-oriented programming language or possess equivalent knowledge.
- Approaching your Junior year (if pursuing a Bachelors) or beyond at the time of the internship.
- Available for a 12-week internship between May and September of 2026.
- Experience with at least one of the following programming languages: Python, Java, C++, C.
- Must be willing to relocate to Seattle, WA for both the internship and a subsequent full-time role upon graduation.
Nice to Have
- Preferred majors are Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied and Computational Math Sciences, or related disciplines.
- Technology product development experience.
- Experience with the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence).
