At Brenntag North America, transportation is central to our cost structure, customer experience, and sustainability goals. We are hiring a Technical Product Manager to own the full lifecycle of our TMS platform, transforming it into a multi-modal, API-enabled, event-driven architecture embedded in our digital fulfillment stack. Your work will directly shape how we move products globally.
What You'll Do
- Define and drive the TMS technical roadmap for scalability, performance, and long-term evolution.
- Align with Enterprise Architecture on system design, integration patterns, and data models.
- Lead platform integration with S/4HANA, Project44, Data Lake, and other digital solutions.
- Manage the technical backlog, from configuration and performance tuning to vendor roadmap alignment.
- Coordinate with offshore/onshore delivery teams to ensure robust execution across releases.
- Own platform artifacts including architecture items, guardrails, APIs, and release documentation.
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years total experience in supply chain technology, product/platform ownership, or enterprise systems.
- 3+ years in technical product management or platform lifecycle roles (e.g., TPM, Solution Owner, Platform Architect).
- Hands-on experience with at least one Transportation Management System (TMS).
- Proven track record managing API integrations, event-driven workflows, and enterprise system connectivity (ERP, visibility platforms).
- Familiarity with multi-modal transportation (FTL, LTL, ocean, parcel).
- Technical fluency in API lifecycle management, integration architecture, event-driven systems (e.g., Kafka, SAP Event Mesh, Mulesoft), and cloud platforms (especially AWS, SAP BTP).
- Experience with ERP integration (S/4HANA) and supply chain visibility platforms.
- Comfort working with technical teams, solution architects, and data engineers.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with business stakeholders, vendors, and global teams.
- Passion for the logistics tech landscape and a mindset focused on building durable, extensible platforms.
- A Master's degree or postgraduate studies in Supply Chain Management, Digital Transformation, or Enterprise IT.
Nice to Have
- Direct experience with BlueYonder, SAP TM, or Oracle Transportation Cloud.
- Familiarity with multi-modal transportation in a logistics-intensive industry (chemical, pharma, FMCG, automotive).
- Proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese.
- Recognized programs from institutions like IE Business School, ESADE, UPC Barcelona, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, or NOVA Lisbon.
