About the Role

This position is responsible for supporting the day-to-day functionality of technical operations, responding to system alerts, diagnosing issues, and working with cross-functional teams to maintain service reliability and uptime.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor system performance and respond to operational alerts
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
  • Document incidents and track resolution progress
  • Escalate complex problems to engineering teams
  • Maintain accurate records of system changes
  • Support deployment of software updates
  • Perform routine system checks and maintenance
  • Troubleshoot network and server connectivity issues
  • Assist with onboarding new team members
  • Follow established incident management procedures
  • Coordinate with developers for issue resolution
  • Respond to internal support requests
  • Verify system backups are completed successfully
  • Assist in root cause analysis for recurring issues
  • Ensure compliance with security protocols
  • Update knowledge base articles as needed
  • Participate in on-call rotations
  • Validate service health after changes
  • Track key performance metrics
  • Support integration testing for new features

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
  • Certifications in IT support or networking
  • Experience with AWS or similar platforms
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies
  • Background in security operations
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
  • Scripting experience in Python or Bash
  • Exposure to automation tools
  • Incident response experience
  • Understanding of compliance standards
