AlphaPet Ventures GmbH is looking for a Technical Operations & Innovation Engineer (m/w/d) to bridge the gap between technical innovation and operational excellence. You will be a key partner to the Team Lead, focusing on integrating new technologies into our infrastructure, rethinking the developer experience, and advancing the team's capabilities.

What You'll Do

Support the team in infrastructure, DevOps, and technical automation initiatives.
Collaborate closely with the Team Lead to prepare technical decisions, conduct rapid prototyping, and introduce new tools, with a focus on AI-based solutions.
Develop and expand deployment environments while automating processes to improve stability, speed, and transparency.
Shape the DevOps culture by owning CI/CD, observability, and security topics in daily team life.
Act as a sparring partner for the Team Lead on architecture, workflows, and operational questions.
Use rapid prototyping to quickly test new ideas and technologies, evaluating their benefit for the company.
Drive AI tools forward by introducing new solutions, supporting onboarding, and enabling colleagues through training and best practices.

What We're Looking For

At least 8 years of professional experience in software development.
Demonstrable experience in full-stack web development (web technologies, backend & frontend).
Several years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure, or Platform Engineering.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring/observability systems, and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Puppet, Terraform).
Experience with workflow automation and AI tools.
Very good German and English language skills.
