Requirements
- Demonstrated background in DevOps roles on freelance or contract engagements
- Extensive practical experience using Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Proven track record managing infrastructure on DigitalOcean
- Proficiency in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, with preference for GitLab CI/CD
- Deep understanding of Linux environments and server management
- Hands-on experience with Docker and deploying containerized applications
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible
- Capacity to operate autonomously and own projects from start to finish
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate remotely with a team of five developers and one designer
Nice to Have
- Background working with Kubernetes, including GKE or DigitalOcean Kubernetes
- Experience deploying and managing serverless applications on GCP, such as Cloud Run
- Knowledge of monitoring and observability platforms like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or Datadog
- Track record in identifying and reducing cloud infrastructure costs
- Prior work in startup or SaaS product environments
