Versa Networks is seeking a passionate, entrepreneurial, and tech-savvy Solution Architect to help our customers and partners evaluate, adopt, and expand the use of our technology.

What You'll Do

Evangelize technical leadership to our customers and partners.
Provide architectural design services for state-of-the-art SD-WAN deployments, including creating HLD and LLD documentation.
Perform hands-on tests to validate customer proof-of-concept setups, network designs, and deployments using new products and features.
Provide Professional Services on an assignment basis to strategic customers.
Author whitepapers, knowledge base articles, and other customer and partner-facing content.

What We're Looking For

A TS Clearance is required for this role.
Experience in planning, designing, or operating service provider or large enterprise WAN and LAN networks.
In-depth understanding of the TCP/IP protocol stack and operation.
Knowledge of WAN technologies and protocols like MPLS, MPLS-based VPNs, BGP, OSPF, QoS, NAT, and Multicast.
Knowledge in architecting and/or managing large-scale, high-performing, and resilient Enterprise networking solutions.
Knowledge of Linux administration.
Shell scripting and Python scripting knowledge.
Great analytical thinking.
Ability to think full stack when it comes to problem-solving.
Ability to learn new technology quickly.
Excellent hands-on skills in deploying and troubleshooting complex networks.
Willingness to help customers, peers, and other team members at any time.

Nice to Have

Operational knowledge of next-gen firewalls/UTMs, IDS/IPS, and malware prevention systems.
Knowledge of best practice architectures for SaaS applications.
Hands-on experience in public and private cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, Openstack, and VMware.

Compensation: $180,000 to $225,000 + pre-IPO equity.
