Versa Networks is seeking a passionate, entrepreneurial, and tech-savvy Solution Architect to help our customers and partners evaluate, adopt, and expand the use of our technology.
What You'll Do
- Evangelize technical leadership to our customers and partners.
- Provide architectural design services for state-of-the-art SD-WAN deployments, including creating HLD and LLD documentation.
- Perform hands-on tests to validate customer proof-of-concept setups, network designs, and deployments using new products and features.
- Provide Professional Services on an assignment basis to strategic customers.
- Author whitepapers, knowledge base articles, and other customer and partner-facing content.
What We're Looking For
- A TS Clearance is required for this role.
- Experience in planning, designing, or operating service provider or large enterprise WAN and LAN networks.
- In-depth understanding of the TCP/IP protocol stack and operation.
- Knowledge of WAN technologies and protocols like MPLS, MPLS-based VPNs, BGP, OSPF, QoS, NAT, and Multicast.
- Knowledge in architecting and/or managing large-scale, high-performing, and resilient Enterprise networking solutions.
- Knowledge of Linux administration.
- Shell scripting and Python scripting knowledge.
- Great analytical thinking.
- Ability to think full stack when it comes to problem-solving.
- Ability to learn new technology quickly.
- Excellent hands-on skills in deploying and troubleshooting complex networks.
- Willingness to help customers, peers, and other team members at any time.
Nice to Have
- Operational knowledge of next-gen firewalls/UTMs, IDS/IPS, and malware prevention systems.
- Knowledge of best practice architectures for SaaS applications.
- Hands-on experience in public and private cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, Openstack, and VMware.

- Compensation: $180,000 to $225,000 + pre-IPO equity.
