What You'll Do
Architect and manage scalable, secure network systems across a global footprint, supporting dozens of remote offices and data centers. Drive the evolution of network infrastructure by integrating cloud platforms, automation, and intelligent operations.
- Design and implement enterprise-grade networks in both on-prem and cloud environments using AWS and Azure services such as VPC, ExpressRoute, and Transit Gateway
- Build and maintain automated workflows using Infrastructure as Code, Ansible, and Python to streamline provisioning and configuration
- Support cloud-native architectures including Kubernetes, service mesh, and microservices networking
- Apply AI and machine learning to enhance network monitoring, detect anomalies, and optimize performance
- Operate and secure network environments using firewalls, SD-WAN, zero-trust frameworks, and encrypted tunneling
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards through documentation and policy enforcement
- Provide expert-level troubleshooting and serve as a technical escalation point
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure with business goals and share best practices
- Participate in on-call rotations to maintain system reliability
- Document network configurations and contribute to organizational knowledge
- Stay current with emerging technologies through continuous learning and professional development
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in designing and managing global enterprise networks
- At least 5 years working with cloud networking on AWS and Azure platforms
- Strong command of Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols, including BGP, OSPF, and VLANs
- Proven experience with Cisco and Aruba switching, Aruba wireless, 802.1x/NAC, FortiGate firewalls, F5 load balancers, and SD-WAN
- Hands-on background with automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Python scripting
- Familiarity with containerized environments, Kubernetes networking, and service mesh patterns
- Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience applying AI/ML models to network analytics or security operations
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Advanced Networking, Azure Network Engineer, CCNP, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator
