About the Role
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring reliable performance of autonomous platforms in operational settings. This includes on-site support, system diagnostics, software updates, and working closely with engineering and mission teams to resolve technical challenges in real time.
Responsibilities
- Deploy and configure autonomous systems in diverse field environments
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues during live operations
- Collaborate with engineering teams to relay field performance data and recommend improvements
- Maintain system documentation and update operational procedures
- Support integration of new capabilities into existing platforms
- Conduct pre-mission system checks and post-mission evaluations
- Troubleshoot communication links and sensor performance issues
- Assist in training mission personnel on system operation and limitations
- Monitor system health during field exercises and respond to anomalies
- Coordinate logistics for equipment transport and setup
- Implement security protocols for data handling and system access
- Work with cross-functional teams to align technical operations with mission goals
- Provide feedback on user experience to inform product development
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in all operations
- Respond to urgent technical issues with minimal supervision
- Optimize system configurations for specific mission profiles
- Support over-the-horizon operations via remote diagnostics and updates
- Participate in after-action reviews to improve system reliability
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and field support tools
- Adapt systems to challenging environmental conditions
- Assist in developing automated deployment workflows
- Ensure timely software patching and version control
- Interface with government and military stakeholders during field tests
- Support rapid prototyping efforts in operational settings
- Contribute to scalability improvements for large-scale deployments
