About the Role
The role involves developing and maintaining advanced counter-intrusion technologies to protect critical assets. Engineers will work on detection systems, analyze threats, and ensure rapid response capabilities through integration of hardware and software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement intrusion detection architectures
- Deploy sensor networks for perimeter monitoring
- Integrate software with physical security systems
- Respond to real-time security alerts
- Analyze intrusion patterns and system vulnerabilities
- Maintain operational readiness of countermeasures
- Troubleshoot hardware and software failures
- Support field testing of detection systems
- Develop protocols for incident escalation
- Ensure compliance with security standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams
- Optimize system performance under stress conditions
- Document system configurations and changes
- Conduct post-event forensic analysis
- Improve detection accuracy and reduce false positives
- Monitor system health and alerting mechanisms
- Participate in red team exercises
- Update response playbooks based on new threats
- Work with classified or sensitive data environments
- Support deployment in diverse physical environments
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline
- Experience with autonomous systems

- Security clearance at Secret level or higher

Security Requirements

Travel Expectations
Up to 20% travel for site installations, testing, and customer support. Travel may include remote or international locations with short notice.
