1Password is looking for a Technical Marketing Manager to serve as a critical link between Product, Marketing, and Sales. In this role, you'll bring Extended Access Management solutions to life through technical storytelling, demos, and market insights. You will identify customer challenges, create technical content, support go-to-market efforts, and contribute to competitive analysis.
What You'll Do
- Co-develop launch and adoption strategies for identity, authentication, and user access security solutions.
- Collaborate with Sales Engineers, PMs, and customers to identify technical friction points and turn them into compelling demos and solution narratives.
- Develop technical marketing materials such as demo scripts, proof-of-concepts, workshops, one-pagers, and videos.
- Partner with Product Marketing and Enablement to equip the field with technical assets that help close deals and accelerate adoption.
- Craft and build product experiences and demos that highlight integrated use cases across our products.
- Help track and communicate competitor capabilities, contributing to win/loss insights and positioning strategy.
- Collaborate with product and partner teams to build reference architectures and articulate joint solution value.
- Present at internal training sessions, webinars, and customer calls to share technical knowledge and thought leadership.
What We're Looking For
- 4 years of experience in Technical Marketing, Sales Engineering, Product Management, Product Marketing or a related field.
- A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Technology, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to identify customer use-cases and translate them into compelling technical content and demos.
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate sophisticated technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience collaborating with GTM teams, contributing to enablement, and translating product features into value propositions.
- Background in developing detailed technical collateral, preferably with a security and identity focus.
- Motivation to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment with a chance to take on more responsibility over time.
Nice to Have
- A strong grasp of cybersecurity, identity and access management, authentication flows, or cloud environments.
- Familiarity with tools like Okta, Azure AD, AWS, or MDM solutions.

- Compensation: USA: $122,000 USD - $166,000 USD. Canada: $111,000 CAD - $150,000 CAD. + equity grant.
