Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is looking for a Technical Infrastructure Project Manager to lead complex IT infrastructure initiatives from anywhere in Mexico. In this fully remote, long-term contract role, you will oversee security hardening, patching, disaster recovery, and monitoring projects while collaborating with global teams.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage IT infrastructure projects including security, monitoring, vulnerability management, disaster recovery, and system hardening.
- Develop detailed project plans, including effort estimates, role identification, and timelines down to the technical task level.
- Oversee multiple priorities simultaneously, ensuring proper coordination and delivery across all stakeholders.
- Proactively identify risks, define mitigation strategies, and resolve issues to ensure timely project execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders in a globally distributed environment.
- Utilize ITIL-based processes such as change management, incident resolution, and service management.
- Engage in software project environments when necessary to understand SDLC and product lifecycle impacts.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience managing infrastructure projects such as disaster recovery, obsolescence, patching, and hardening.
- Strong technical background in IT operations, systems engineering, or related domains.
- Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple priorities, plan effectively, and manage technical project timelines.
- Proficient in risk management, problem-solving, and mitigation planning.
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and enterprise IT environments.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously in a fully remote setup.

- Experience with software project lifecycle and SDLC understanding.
