About the Role

TP Infinity is hiring a Technical Customer Support Specialist for a work-from-home opportunity. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing technical troubleshooting and building positive customer relationships. This remote position is open to candidates residing in specific Canadian provinces.

What You'll Do

  • Provide first-level customer service and technical solutions for client products.
  • Build and maintain positive customer relations by offering personalized solutions and striving to exceed expectations.
  • Ensure requests are handled appropriately by coordinating with various functions within the company.
  • Schedule service calls and follow up with customers and clients.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues using established diagnostics tools and procedures.
  • Responsible for accurate data input using prescribed applications.
  • Demonstrate exceptional call handling soft skills, including active listening, empathy, and reassurance.
  • Effectively tailor communication and style to differing audiences and read verbal and non-verbal cues.
  • Answer inbound and outbound customer queries.
  • Approach problems flexibly and adapt or modify your approach without compromising the outcome.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum high school degree.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in customer-facing environments (phone, chat, in person, etc.).
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Excellent communication and comprehension skills, able to communicate clearly and effectively both written and verbal.
  • Ability to type 30 wpm and successfully pass language and grammar screening.
  • Excellent home internet hardwired connection.
  • Professional and/or personal technical troubleshooting experience.
  • iOS, Smartphone, Tablet, PC, or Mac experience.
  • Deep curiosity for understanding technology and passion for learning and sharing knowledge.
  • Uses analytical skills to isolate and resolve complex technical issues through appropriate troubleshooting methodology.
  • Confident navigating multiple systems and tools to research, comprehend, and deliver solutions in real time.
  • Able to self-manage and work independently in a fast-paced, highly demanding environment.
  • Strong sense of professionalism exhibited by remaining positive, calm, and composed under pressure.
  • Eager to receive feedback, embraces coaching, and demonstrates changes as a result.

Nice to Have

  • Degree or certification in technology is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word & Excel.

This is a remote, work-from-home position open to candidates residing in Alberta (AB), British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Saskatchewan.
