Accredo Health Group Inc is looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join our team and help patients receive life-sustaining medications. In this work-from-home role, you will assist patients managing rare and chronic diseases by coordinating prescription orders and ensuring timely shipments. You'll engage directly with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers as part of our specialty pharmacy mission.
What You'll Do
- Take inbound and make outbound calls to welcome patients, gather demographics, and arrange first shipments.
- Create requests and contact providers and doctors' offices for prescription information.
- Perform data entry and ensure prescriptions are accurately entered into the system.
- Investigate prescription issues with pharmacists, doctors, and other healthcare providers.
- Provide guidance to patients about medication coverage.
- Juggle multiple tasks without sacrificing attention to detail.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Customer service experience.
- Valid Pharmacy Technician license, certification, or registration as required by state laws.
- Strong computer and data entry ability with Microsoft Office products.
- High-speed internet with a wired ethernet connection.
- A private and quiet workspace.
Nice to Have
- Phone experience is a plus.
