The Technical Customer Engineer II plays a key technical role in supporting both sales teams and customers throughout the sales and deployment process. This position ensures smooth integration of equipment by leading on-site machine setup and startup activities according to customer timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver detailed product demonstrations and respond to technical inquiries for individual products or full product lines
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex system issues in the field
- Act as the primary technical contact for the Tata Hosur site, managing all engineering support needs
- Conduct on-site failure analysis and present findings during customer meetings
- Train and upskill both internal and distributor field service engineers through regular refresher sessions
- Collaborate with customers to maintain appropriate levels of critical and consumable spare parts on-site
- Support other contract manufacturing locations as technical demands arise
- Supervise and guide the distributor’s onsite service team to ensure consistent service quality
Work Location
This is an onsite role primarily based at the Tata Hosur facility, with periodic travel to other contract manufacturer sites as required for technical support.
