Responsibilities
- Monitor billing system outputs for inconsistencies or errors
- Investigate and resolve technical issues affecting invoice generation
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure billing data accuracy
- Support client inquiries related to billing processes and timelines
- Document technical workflows and update process documentation
- Assist in testing updates to billing software and infrastructure
- Validate data inputs to ensure compliance with client contracts
- Track and report on billing cycle performance metrics
- Escalate complex technical problems to senior staff when needed
- Maintain confidentiality of client and financial information
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to improve billing efficiency
- Follow established protocols for system access and data handling
- Assist in onboarding new clients to billing platforms
- Identify opportunities for automation in billing workflows
- Provide feedback on system usability and functionality
- Ensure timely resolution of billing discrepancies
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Use query tools to extract and analyze billing data
