About the Role

This role focuses on initiating conversations with technical decision-makers, qualifying product-fit opportunities, and setting meetings for solution engineers by leveraging a strong grasp of developer tools and API-centric platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and target engineering teams using API-first products
  • Conduct outbound technical discovery calls with developers and product managers
  • Educate prospects on integration capabilities and use cases
  • Qualify leads based on technical requirements and implementation timelines
  • Collaborate with solution engineers to align technical fit
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach and technical objections
  • Translate developer pain points into sales opportunities
  • Engage with technical documentation to understand product capabilities
  • Attend developer events and online communities for lead generation
  • Follow structured cadences for technical follow-ups
  • Respond to inbound technical inquiries from sign-ups
  • Map technical stakeholders within target organizations
  • Prepare summaries of technical discussions for handoff
  • Stay current with changes in developer tooling trends
  • Use CRM tools to track engagement metrics
  • Support creation of technical outreach templates
  • Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts
  • Work with marketing on technical campaign targeting
  • Provide feedback from technical conversations to product teams
  • Assist in refining ideal customer profile based on technical signals
