As a Technical Architect for Retail Planning, you will define and guide the technical vision behind planning solutions, ensuring seamless integration and configuration for clients in the retail and fashion sectors. You will work closely with both development and customer-facing teams to deliver robust, scalable systems that meet complex business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical decision-making and advocate for effective, sustainable solutions
- Create and maintain detailed technical models and system designs aligned with client requirements
- Manage project tasks such as software setup, configuration, deployment training, and post-deployment support
- Develop integration blueprints connecting planning systems with third-party platforms
- Support or lead integration efforts between planning modules and internal or external systems
- Coach and supervise consultants during implementation phases
- Assist in designing and deploying architectures of varying complexity
- Act as a liaison between R&D and customer services on technical architecture and integration challenges
- Promote and enforce best practices in system configuration and integration
- Provide input on future product features, implementation methodologies, and standard customizations
- Ensure compliance with software quality and engineering standards
- Drive customer success by aligning technical delivery with business objectives
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
- Strong command of database querying, particularly with MS SQL Server
- Understanding of retail industry operations and strategic challenges
- Hands-on experience with planning tools and their business implementation
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Self-driven with a high degree of independence, senior-level judgment, and a passion for tackling complex problems
Preferred Skills
- Advanced proficiency in MS SQL Server
- Experience with Azure architecture, deployment, and performance optimization
- Familiarity with core ERP software modules
- Experience in Power BI, including dataset modeling and dashboard creation

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $130,000 to $160,000 USD. Some roles may include additional variable incentives.
