About the Role

The Technical Architect at Salesforce is responsible for designing and managing the delivery of complex Salesforce solutions for customers, particularly in the Telecommunications industry. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking and deep technical expertise to create scalable, long-term solutions that align with customer growth and leverage Salesforce's AI-driven platform.

What You'll Do

  • Lead technical design sessions and translate complex business requirements into well-architected solutions that leverage the Salesforce platform and its various products, SFI Industries, APEX and Omnistudio
  • Lead a team of developers, guiding them through best practices, providing an end-to-end vision, and delivering value-driven scalable solutions
  • Contribute to establishing and managing DevOps strategies, including CI/CD pipelines, version control (GIT), and environment management for large-scale implementations
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders to define requirements, set expectations, and identify gaps between their current and desired states
  • Participate in pre-sales activities such as discovery sessions and Proof-Of-Concept (POC) development
  • Architect and manage integrations with external systems via APIs and ETL technologies
  • Proactively debug and resolve complex technical issues as they arise, applying a deep understanding of the project and its components
  • Work with Salesforce product teams to support client implementations and ensure solutions align with platform best practices
  • Travel to client sites, averaging approximately 50% of the time, to collaborate effectively with global teams and stakeholders

What We're Looking For

  • 6+ years of experience as a technical architect, with at least 3+ years on the Salesforce platform
  • Expert-level understanding of the Salesforce product suite, including Sales, Service, Analytics, and Experience Clouds
  • Deep understanding of systems architecture, key design and integration patterns, and best practices for managing large data volumes
  • Familiarity with platform authentication patterns (SAML, SSO, OAuth)
  • Strong background in designing and developing large web-based systems, including a comprehensive understanding of the full software product lifecycle
  • Experience with environment management, release management, code versioning, and deployment methodologies
  • Familiarity with platform security capabilities (TLS, SSL) and data sharing/visibility models
  • Proactive and self-managed professional with the ability to challenge the status quo and propose creative yet well-thought-out solutions
  • Spanish and/or Portuguese business advanced proficiency required
  • English proficiency

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience in the Communications Cloud, Media Cloud Salesforce Industries
  • Active Salesforce certifications or the ability to achieve relevant certifications upon hire
  • Candidates with the Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect credentials are highly desirable
  • TMForum SAFE Methodologies experience

Work Mode

Hybrid role with 50% travel to client sites required. Locations include LATAM.
