Salesforce, Inc. is hiring a Technical Architect

Lead the design and delivery of complex Salesforce implementations tailored to the Telecommunications industry. As a Technical Architect, you will transform intricate business needs into robust technical solutions using the full breadth of the Salesforce ecosystem, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Analytics Cloud.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct technical design workshops and convert business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable Salesforce architectures
  • Guide development teams in adopting best practices for Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and mobile development
  • Design and manage integrations between Salesforce and external systems using APIs, middleware, and ETL tools
  • Oversee custom development, data migration, and system integration efforts from inception to deployment
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, version control strategies, and environment management protocols using GIT and DevOps tools
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define solution scope, identify capability gaps, and align technical roadmaps with business objectives
  • Support pre-sales initiatives, including discovery sessions and proof-of-concept builds
  • Resolve high-level technical challenges by applying deep platform expertise and architectural insight
  • Advise on security models, data visibility, authentication methods (SAML, SSO, OAuth), and encryption standards (TLS, SSL)
  • Travel to client locations—approximately 50% of the time—to engage with global teams and ensure successful project execution

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years in technical architecture roles, with at least 3 years focused on Salesforce platform solutions
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce products and development tools, including OmniStudio and SFI Industries
  • Strong grasp of integration patterns, data architecture, and lifecycle management for large-scale systems
  • Proven ability to lead technical teams and deliver end-to-end solutions
  • Fluency in English, with advanced proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese required for LATAM engagement
  • Self-driven mindset with a focus on innovation, efficiency, and challenging conventional approaches

Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with Communications Cloud, Media Cloud, or industry-specific Salesforce solutions
  • Active Salesforce certifications, particularly in Application or System Architecture
  • Knowledge of TMForum standards and SAFe framework principles

Technology Environment

Work across the core Salesforce platform and related technologies: Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Experience, APIs, integration middleware, ETL tools, CI/CD pipelines, GIT, DevOps, SSO, OAuth, and encryption protocols.
