Role Overview
This position supports the technology operations of a corporate banking entity in Ukraine from a hybrid workplace in Warsaw. You'll act as a bridge between technical systems and business needs, ensuring reliable performance of core applications and infrastructure in line with regulatory and internal policy standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage local applications from setup through ongoing operation, aligning with regulatory and internal policy requirements.
- Administer and maintain the core banking platform (B2), including configuration and troubleshooting.
- Deliver remote technical assistance to end users and resolve reported issues efficiently.
- Track and manage incidents using an IT service management system to ensure timely resolution.
- Work with IT teams to deploy system updates, patches, and new releases.
- Execute daily operational procedures to keep systems running smoothly.
- Support or lead local IT projects, particularly those driven by regulatory changes.
- Install, test, and implement software distributed by the National Bank of Ukraine.
- Ensure all technical activities comply with security policies, regulatory standards, and internal controls.
Required Qualifications
- Proven ability to manage technical projects and deliver results on time.
- Familiarity with IP addressing, DHCP, and DNS protocols.
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server 2016 and 2019, including basic administration tasks.
- Skill in installing, configuring, and maintaining local software applications.
- Basic knowledge of SQL queries and Oracle databases.
- Advanced proficiency with Office 365 applications.
- Understanding of network principles and security rules.
- Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation for IT systems.
- Familiarity with Service Desk tools, Jira, and Confluence.
- Native fluency in Ukrainian and professional working ability in English.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Unix systems.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid role based in Warsaw, offering flexible remote work options. The contract is initially for 12 months with potential for extension.
