The Technical Advisor Specialist (Part-Time Internship) is a summer opportunity at Scale AI for university students to contribute to real-world generative AI projects. Interns will work flexibly around their academic schedules while gaining exposure to advanced AI research and collaborating with experts and peers.
What You'll Do
- Contribute to initiatives aimed at advancing AI capabilities, such as training models for complex reasoning tasks or identifying model failure modes
- Gain exposure to state-of-the-art technologies and research to enhance technical expertise
- Participate in bi-weekly focus groups to exchange insights and discuss evolving AI techniques
- Learn from experienced researchers during focus group sessions
- Collaborate with small groups of specialists on creative challenges
- Draft blog-style content as part of team-based projects
- Conceptualize innovative AI solutions in a team setting
- Refine teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving abilities through collaboration
- Set own working hours to accommodate academic priorities
- Make meaningful progress in a flexible, remote environment without compromising quality
What We're Looking For
- Enrolled as a student in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or a related STEM field
- Demonstrated coding proficiency
