Role Overview
As a Technical Account Manager, you will act as the primary technical liaison for a defined group of clients, ensuring their advertising campaigns run efficiently and meet performance goals. Your expertise will be critical in diagnosing technical issues, verifying tracking implementation, and maintaining campaign health across programmatic platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main technical contact for assigned clients, providing expert support throughout the campaign lifecycle.
- Investigate and resolve performance discrepancies, including pacing, delivery issues, tag failures, and publisher-level concerns.
- Monitor campaign metrics to ensure alignment with budget and performance targets.
- Collaborate with clients to verify correct implementation of tracking codes and resolve technical barriers.
- Partner with internal teams to share insights, refine processes, and improve team-wide technical knowledge.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent real-world experience.
- Minimum of three years in a technical account management or campaign operations role within digital advertising.
- Proven experience with major demand-side platforms such as The Trade Desk, DV360, Xandr, or Amazon DSP.
- Strong data analysis skills using Excel or similar tools, with hands-on experience in Google Analytics.
- Ability to explain technical details clearly to non-technical partners.
- Familiarity with programmatic advertising concepts including RTB, DMPs, tagging, and bidding workflows.
Preferred Skills
- Basic understanding of code, particularly HTML and JavaScript.
- Exposure to Python or other scripting languages.
