The IMA Group is hiring a Technical Account Manager (OpenStack) - remote in the US

About the Role

Mirantis is looking for a Technical Account Manager (OpenStack) to serve as the primary technical owner for enterprise clients running Mirantis platforms in production. In this client-facing role, you'll ensure operational excellence, guide clients through complex infrastructure challenges, and act as a trusted advisor to both engineering teams and senior stakeholders.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the primary technical owner for a set of enterprise clients operating Mirantis platforms in production environments
  • Lead clients through incidents, upgrades, and architectural decisions
  • Ensure client platforms remain stable, performant, and prepared for future growth
  • Work closely with Support, Engineering, and Customer Success teams
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to client engineering teams and senior stakeholders responsible for mission-critical systems
  • Lead strategic account reviews
  • Present platform health and risk to executives
  • Provide recommendations that influence operational direction and long-term platform strategy
  • Deliver clear, actionable outcomes in QBRs and strategic account sessions

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in a technical account management, customer success, or support engineering role for enterprise clients
  • Strong technical background with production infrastructure and cloud platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve complex technical issues in mission-critical environments
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with both technical teams and executive stakeholders
  • Ability to act as a strategic advisor and build trusted relationships with clients

Nice to Have

  • Experience with OpenStack or similar cloud infrastructure platforms
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, containerization, and modern cloud-native technologies
  • Background in enterprise IT operations or systems engineering
  • Knowledge of SLA management and incident escalation processes
  • Experience presenting technical content to C-level executives
