Playson is seeking a Tech Lead - Node.js to be a key player in developing our cutting-edge solution where milliseconds matter. You will participate in a major tech transformation, working on projects that impact millions globally.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain backend applications for our gaming platforms.
- Optimize existing systems for performance and scalability.
- Lead technical decisions and influence our SaaS solutions.
- Collaborate with a distributed team to create new features.
- Conduct code and architectural reviews.
- Solve complex business problems with innovative solutions.
- Participate in on-call rotations within the squad to ensure system reliability and availability.
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proficiency in Node.js/TypeScript.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of asynchronous programming techniques.
- Experience with distributed systems and messaging systems like Apache Kafka and gRPC.
- Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL), columnar databases (ClickHouse), and NoSQL technologies (DynamoDB, MongoDB).
- Skilled in developing and maintaining end-to-end and unit tests.
- A proven track record of developing production-ready solutions.
Nice to Have
- Experience with large-scale microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS).
- Understanding of application security and industry best practices.
