Maximus Health, Inc. is seeking a Head / VP of Finance to lead financial operations and shape the financial landscape of our high-growth telehealth company. In this strategic leadership role reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for financial strategy, capital planning, and building the financial foundations to support our mission.

What You'll Do

Develop and execute a mission-aligned financial strategy and roadmap.
Lead annual and seasonal budget planning, forecasting, and build revenue and profitability models.
Own cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and banking relationships.
Define, track, and evangelize financial KPIs driving growth, margin improvement, and capital efficiency.
Craft investor decks, board materials, and financial narratives.
Equip the organization with tools and financial literacy for data-driven decisions.
Collaborate cross-functionally to drive revenue, optimize margins, and allocate resources.
Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports with actionable insights.
Create financial tools for department heads to understand performance.
Champion digital dashboards and foster a data-driven culture.
Lead accurate and timely GAAP and cash-based reporting.
Oversee tax compliance, audit preparation, and regulatory filings.
Provide guidance on MSO/PC structure for operational and financial excellence.
Maintain internal controls and a disciplined accounting calendar.
Support capital planning, equity/debt fundraising, and create multi-year growth roadmaps.
Support contract reviews and manage legal/regulatory filings.

What We're Looking For

15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience.
Experience in telehealth, ecommerce, SaaS, or D2C.
Deep understanding of PC/MSO operations and aligning financial strategy with operational efficiency.
Hands-on experience in hybrid cash and GAAP environments with deferred revenue models.
Proven track record of driving margin improvement, executing capital planning, and providing cross-functional financial support.
Comfort and expertise in both high-level strategic planning and hands-on tactical execution.

Nice to Have

Start-up experience strongly preferred.
CPA, CFA, or equivalent strongly preferred.
MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.
