ENGIE is looking for a Team Leader - Plant Operations to lead a team of 12 operators delivering 24/7 public service for collective cooling networks in Paris. You will ensure the proper operation of installations, continuity of service, energy performance of production plants, and good distribution across networks. Your role is central to driving a strong transformation within the team, both technically and in customer service culture.
What You'll Do
- Apply and enforce safety and environmental policies within the team.
- Supervise team members in close collaboration with the department manager and the energy department.
- Raise awareness and develop the team's skills in customer relations.
- Manage the team's Human Resources, including schedule follow-up and training plans.
- Coach operations teams to improve skills in leak detection, energy optimization, and plant operation.
- Update operating procedures and the operations documentation base (reflex sheets, on-call duty, user guides).
- Participate in and support the adoption of the 'NEMO' artificial intelligence for automating operations on the Fraicheur de Paris networks.
- Place orders and track OPEX spending according to defined budgets.
- Provide technical expertise and train the team for remote diagnostics on customer delivery systems.
- Support the communications department by participating in welcoming and conducting technical tours for external guests.
What We're Looking For
- Technical education equivalent to BTS in Electrotechnics or similar.
- 10 years of experience in a similar role confirming knowledge and expertise in customer management and plant operations.
- Confirmed experience in management and optimization of a cooling network or equivalent industrial processes.
- Driving license (Permis B).
Team & Environment
You will lead a 12-person operations team working 24/7. The team is part of the Production Department, working closely with the Department Manager, the energy department, and other Operations Directorate services. You will report directly to the Department Manager. The environment is technical, rigorous, and friendly within a human-sized team.

This role is onsite in Paris.
