NVIDIA is hiring a Software Engineering Manager - Neural Graphics

About the Role

What You'll Do

Lead the evolution of graphics technology by transitioning traditional rendering methods to neural-based systems. Build and mentor a distributed team of engineers focused on advancing neural graphics, ensuring collaboration across global offices and time zones. Define the long-term technical direction for neural graphics across platforms, aligning with broader ecosystem goals.

Drive the adoption of Slang as the core language for neural programming, enabling seamless integration across architectures. Act as a bridge between research labs and product groups, accelerating the path from experimental concepts to shippable technologies. Establish efficient workflows that shorten the research-to-production cycle and promote ecosystem growth through strategic collaborations.

Requirements

You bring a background in computer science, machine learning, or computer graphics, with at least eight years of industry experience, including three in technical leadership. Your expertise includes deep learning, generative AI, and diffusion models, with a proven ability to deploy AI systems in real-world environments. You’ve shaped platform strategies across organizations and successfully moved research innovations into products with measurable impact.

Strong communication skills are essential, as you’ll coordinate across research, engineering, and executive teams. You thrive in technical transitions and have experience guiding teams through shifts toward generative AI and large model integration in production pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep knowledge of neural rendering and AI-driven graphics techniques
  • History of delivering real-time rendering solutions or graphics platforms
  • Experience building developer-facing tools, SDKs, or programming languages
  • Proven success in scaling research prototypes into production systems

Technical Environment

Work with cutting-edge technologies including Slang, differentiable programming, generative AI, diffusion models, and modern ML frameworks. Focus on neural rendering advancements that redefine visual computing.

Benefits

Be part of an inclusive, forward-thinking environment where innovation is central. Contribute to breakthroughs in AI and graphics that have the potential to shape future technologies. Collaborate with experts across disciplines in a culture that values curiosity, diversity, and meaningful progress.
