Solventum is looking for a Team Lead – Treasury Operations to lead day-to-day operations within our Treasury Operations India team. In this role, you will manage a team while supporting global bank administration, driving process automation, and providing analytical support to the global Treasury function.
What You'll Do
- Manage and lead day-to-day operations within Treasury Operations India, including team management of two or more direct reports.
- Support the global bank administration process by establishing and monitoring the bank account management landscape, including signatories and banking products.
- Continuously strive for simplification and automation of operational tasks, including integration with bank partners.
- Measure and drive SLAs of banking partners, monitor performance, and publish results regularly.
- Develop and maintain operational processes through documentation updates and cross-training.
- Perform bank account maintenance including openings, closings, and changes to services or authorized persons.
- Provide analytical support for global controls processes and initiatives.
- Perform ad-hoc analytical projects to support the Senior Treasury Analyst and other team members.
- Liaise with IT to support testing and rollout of new software applications and upgrades.
- Document complex technical flows and integrations for team reference.
- Provide timely, accurate, and concise communication to stakeholders.
- Execute bank documentation processes for account opening, modification, closure, and services setup.
- Coordinate with Treasury, Legal, and Banking partners to ensure smooth execution of account services requests.
- Perform periodic reconciliation of account data in centralized tools with external banking partners and internal stakeholders, resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain a repository of documentation requirements for various service setups with banking partners.
- Coordinate with Tax & Legal teams on Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation.
- Drive process improvements and simplification initiatives.
- Drive and maintain global metrics and process documentation.
- Work with the Global Capital & Funding Team in areas such as Liquidity Management, Debt Management, Interest Controls, and Risk Management.
- Conduct variance analysis to explain changes in cash flow, interest, etc.
- Support SOX and compliance queries and requirements.
- Handle escalations related to user and bank account management processes.
- Perform user entitlement updates in banking portals.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, or statistics from an accredited institution.
- Over 7 years of total work experience, with at least 3–4 years of relevant experience in Treasury.
Nice to Have
- Experience in problem-solving, financial modeling, data analytics, and data management.
- Strong analytical reasoning, persuasive and assertive communication, adaptability, optimism, innovation, collaboration, and excellent written and verbal communication.
- Proficiency in documentation and process flows (MS Visio / PowerPoint).
- Strong MS Excel skills.
- Effective time management.
Team & Environment
You will lead a team of at least two direct reports as part of Treasury Operations India, supporting the global Treasury team. You'll report to the Senior Treasury Analyst and other Treasury team members.
