Lead and mentor QA engineers in developing testing strategies, frameworks, and test plans. Write automated test cases in C# and contribute to a shared automation framework. Ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle within a cloud-based hospitality technology environment.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and review system specifications for accuracy and completeness
- Guide and collaborate with QA engineers to build effective testing strategies, frameworks, and test plans
- Develop test cases based on user stories and functional requirements
- Write automated test scripts and enhance the shared C# automation framework
- Maintain detailed logs documenting testing phases and identified defects
- Report bugs and errors to development teams for resolution
- Assist in diagnosing and resolving technical issues
- Perform testing after releases or implementation to validate functionality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality assurance throughout the software development lifecycle
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in C# for writing automated tests
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, including ISTQB Foundation level knowledge
- Experience with Agile frameworks and regression testing practices
- Ability to document and diagnose software errors effectively
- Familiarity with test management tools such as Testrail and JIRA
- Proficient use of both Linux and Windows operating systems
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- High attention to detail in testing and documentation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Well-organized approach to managing testing tasks and workflows
