Responsibilities
- Collaborate with and become a Ping Identity Subject Matter Expert to design and develop engaging, hands-on, task-based training materials for specific technical audiences.
- Develop comprehensive student training guides, lab exercises, assessment items, and instructor teaching aids, with guidance on delivery modalities (instructor-led, e-learning, video, or virtual).
- Build and configure Ping Identity products to support realistic lab environments, ensuring steps and configurations are clearly documented.
- Test and refine training deliverables (labs, guides, presentations) to ensure accuracy and usability.
- Maintain and enhance existing content, making necessary adjustments and releasing timely updates, including incorporating learner feedback from survey results.
- Take ownership and manage assigned course projects or components, while contributing to larger team initiatives.
- Lead and coach a local team of course developers, supporting skill development, technical growth, and career progression.
- Provide regular feedback and content reviews to support consistent quality and learning standards.
- Support onboarding and ongoing development of new course developers.
- Foster a collaborative, learning-focused team culture across a distributed environment.
- Establish and reinforce best practices for technical accuracy, instructional quality, and content consistency.
- Review and approve curriculum deliverables produced by the team, providing constructive guidance and technical direction.
- Support the adoption of instructional design principles and learning standards across the curriculum.
- Provide expert technical guidance in response to complex learner or instructor enquiries related to courses you support.
- Assist authorised instructors by clarifying course materials and supporting effective delivery.
- Deliver or support Train-the-Trainer, Alpha, or Beta sessions for courses where you are the curriculum lead.
- Contribute to technical marketing and enablement initiatives (FAQs, webinars, videos) in collaboration with the Training team.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Training stakeholders to ensure curriculum reflects current and upcoming product capabilities.
- Contribute to curriculum planning discussions by providing input based on technical expertise and learning impact.
- Support alignment between curriculum development efforts and broader training priorities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science or Engineering preferred) or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 5 years experience in technical training course development, including hands-on development of virtual labs.
- Prior experience mentoring, coaching, or managing technical professionals.
- Strong understanding of the roles and responsibilities of software developers, integrators, and system administrators.
- Excellent technical writing, editing, and content structuring skills.

- Experience with identity and access management (IAM) technologies.
- Familiarity with Ping Identity products or similar IAM platforms.
- Experience delivering technical training in instructor-led or virtual formats.
- Certifications in technical training or instructional design (e.g., CPLP, ATD).
- Experience working in agile or distributed team environments.
