As the Manager, Technical Solutions Business Owner, you will guide the strategic direction of critical product capabilities within the Independent Agency channel. Your leadership will define and refine roadmaps based on performance data, customer insights, and technical realities, ensuring each initiative delivers measurable business value.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and manage feature prioritization, balancing customer impact, cost, and technical constraints
- Define and track KPIs to inform roadmap adjustments and demonstrate progress
- Collaborate across departments to evaluate technical tradeoffs and their effect on user experience
- Oversee the intake, assessment, and communication of technology requests
- Report regularly to stakeholders on performance metrics and value delivery
- Participate in user acceptance testing to ensure solutions meet business needs
- Design scalable product features informed by deep understanding of customer behaviors
- Recruit, mentor, and grow a team of Business Analysts, supporting their professional development
- Conduct performance reviews, recommend compensation changes, and support team growth through coaching and feedback
Qualifications
Applicants must bring at least two years of experience in Property & Casualty Insurance or a related field. Success in this role requires the ability to interpret complex requirements, manage multiple priorities, resolve conflicts, and communicate clearly in both written and verbal formats. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred. Certifications in Agile frameworks such as SAFe, Scrum, or PMI-ACP are considered a strong advantage.
