Responsibilities
- Lead and expand the accounting function, ensuring compliance with both German GAAP (HGB/RechKredV) and IFRS standards
- Develop, standardize, and implement automated accounting processes across current and emerging workflows to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and oversight
- Lead cross-functional accounting initiatives, collaborating with internal teams and external partners such as auditors and tax consultants, while continuously refining accounting procedures
- Manage the complete monthly and annual financial closing cycles, including monthly tax filings and supporting related reporting obligations
- Shape the design of transaction logic and journal entry frameworks within the proprietary core banking platform to ensure precise and scalable accounting outcomes
