Responsibilities
- Foster a culture that prioritizes the well-being and growth of each child
- Assess and track each student's academic abilities, strengths, and areas for development
- Develop strong, collaborative relationships with families
- Cultivate a classroom environment where students feel valued, understood, and secure
- Ensure a consistent and efficiently managed daily routine
- Deliver daily small-group instruction in reading, writing, and math for grades K–2
- Lead daily literacy instruction, support individualized digital math learning, and collaborate with math specialists to advance student outcomes for grades 3–8
- Maintain detailed awareness of each student’s progress, mastery level, and learning challenges in math and literacy
- Effectively use digital operations tools to track student performance and support daily operations
- Lead high-quality interdisciplinary learning experiences through the Pursuits curriculum
- Adhere to a structured daily schedule and keep students aligned with expectations
- Analyze and respond to student performance data on a weekly basis
- Conduct parent-teacher conferences throughout the academic year
- Support enrollment efforts by guiding prospective families through campus visits
- Provide regular updates about classroom activities to families and campus staff
- Engage in daily team check-ins and weekly communication routines
- Maintain a clean, safe, and learning-focused classroom space
- Enforce consistent adherence to school policies, including dress code
- Follow all safety protocols, including emergency drills and incident reporting
- Respond quickly to operational tasks and school-wide procedures
- Communicate proactively with families and colleagues
- Seek clarification early and avoid making assumptions
- Work collaboratively with team members to manage coverage and resolve challenges
- Accept feedback with openness and apply it constructively
- Model a steady, composed presence that contributes positively to the entire school community
