Paired is looking for a Tax & Estate Planning Paralegal to provide vital support to a distinguished US-based law firm. In this fully remote role, you will play a key part in managing complex tax and estate planning cases, requiring a detail-oriented expert in the field.
What You'll Do
- Assist attorneys in preparing and reviewing estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and power of attorney agreements.
- Conduct thorough research on tax regulations and estate laws to ensure compliance.
- Organize and maintain client files related to tax and estate planning cases.
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on their cases.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation for meetings and legal proceedings.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of necessary tax documents and returns.
- Collaborate with financial advisors and other professionals involved in the estate planning process.
- Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and estate planning regulations.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on tax and estate planning.
- Strong understanding of U.S. tax law and estate planning strategies.
- Proficient in legal research and documentation processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases in a remote environment.
