Chime is hiring its first dedicated Talent Partner, a foundational role where you will own recruiting end-to-end and build hiring infrastructure from the ground up. In this role, you will define what great looks like for each role, build and run our interview processes, and be the center of gravity for every search.
What You'll Do
- Define what 'great' looks like for each role before opening it.
- Build and run tight interview processes.
- Maintain a candidate experience we'd be proud of if we were the ones applying.
- Help close the people we actually want.
- Own the pipeline, the process, and the outcome, not just the scheduling.
- Build hiring infrastructure: how we write job descriptions, evaluate candidates consistently, debrief well, and move fast without cutting corners.
- Be the center of gravity for every search we run.
- Help us get better at hiring over time.
- Think about talent, where to find it, how to assess it, and how to close it.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or startup talent operations.
- Have real recruiting reps: owned searches end-to-end, managed pipelines, and personally helped close candidates.
- Think like a builder: see a broken hiring process and want to fix it.
- Are comfortable with ambiguity.
- Write clearly and communicate directly.
- Handle sensitive situations with judgment.
- Take ownership seriously.
Nice to Have
- Run recruiting in high-growth startups (10–100 people).
- Understand what it means to hire without a big brand, a big budget, or a big team behind you.
- Have held a title like Recruiting Lead, Talent Partner, or Head of Talent, or been the recruiting function at a small company.
Team & Environment
You will be the first dedicated recruiting hire on a 15-person team, setting the cultural and operational foundation for a company with real momentum.

This is a remote position open to candidates in the US. New York is preferred.
