What You'll Do
Lead full-cycle recruitment for a variety of positions across multiple sites, managing sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer coordination with precision and care. You’ll ensure every candidate has a clear, respectful, and timely experience from first contact through onboarding.
Partner closely with HR professionals and department leaders to understand hiring needs, provide strategic insights, and align talent acquisition with business goals. You’ll proactively identify talent gaps and build sustainable pipelines for both immediate and future roles.
Use data and market research to shape sourcing strategies, adapting to labor trends and industry demands. Gain firsthand insight into operational roles through job shadowing, improving hiring accuracy and reducing turnover.
Continuously assess and improve recruitment workflows to shorten time-to-hire and enhance quality of hire. Maintain meticulous records using an applicant tracking system and deliver regular performance updates to leadership teams.
Requirements
- Hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience
- Have at least two years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to act with urgency
- Communicate clearly and effectively in writing and conversation
- Apply emotional intelligence to build trust with candidates and internal partners
- Manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-moving environment
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Travel up to 25% of the time, including short-notice trips and overnight stays
- Self-manage while traveling, maintaining productivity and accountability
- Be proficient with standard office software including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
- Recruiting experience across diverse functions and levels
- Track record of sourcing passive candidates using innovative methods
- Familiarity with federal, state, and employment compliance regulations
- Experience with Workday or other server-based ATS platforms
- History of meeting or exceeding recruiting KPIs
- Background in recruitment administration and compliance
- Recruiting experience with government contractors
- Project management skills with ability to track multiple initiatives

Work Mode
This is a hybrid position based in Smithfield, Virginia, with 25% travel required. Travel may include short-notice assignments and overnight stays. You must be able to manage your schedule and tasks independently while on the road.
