Allegheny Health Network is hiring a Systems Operating Engineer / IUOE - M to maintain and operate critical hospital infrastructure equipment. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of essential energy and environmental systems across the campus.
What You'll Do
- Ensure proper operation of hospital energy systems, including steam, medical gases, oxygen, chilled water, electricity, vacuum, and HVAC equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance in accordance with a computerized work order system.
- Monitor all computerized equipment related to building utilities.
- Respond to and notify proper personnel during emergencies such as fires, power outages, floods, or elevator malfunctions.
- Install new equipment as needed.
What We're Looking For
- A valid City of Pittsburgh Stationary Engineer's License.
Nice to Have
- Trade school education is preferred.
- 3 years of HVAC experience, preferably in an industrial setting, or a combination of 3 years of hospital and HVAC experience.
