About the Role
The role involves providing technical support for desktop systems, resolving hardware and software issues, and ensuring smooth IT operations in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Install and configure desktop computers, laptops, and peripheral devices
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software malfunctions promptly
- Support network connectivity and basic IT infrastructure
- Maintain accurate records of equipment and support tickets
- Assist with onboarding new employees' technology setup
- Perform regular system updates and security patches
- Troubleshoot email, printing, and application issues
- Collaborate with IT team members on technical projects
- Provide remote support when needed
- Manage user accounts and access permissions
- Support software deployment across the organization
- Escalate complex technical problems as required
- Ensure compliance with internal IT policies
- Assist with inventory management of IT assets
- Respond to service requests in a timely manner
- Conduct basic training for end users
- Monitor system performance and report anomalies
- Support video conferencing and meeting room technology
- Work with vendors for equipment repair and replacement
- Maintain familiarity with company-approved software tools
- Follow documented procedures for common technical issues
- Assist with backup and data recovery processes
- Support mobile device setup and configuration
- Ensure secure handling of sensitive data
- Participate in after-hours maintenance when necessary
