Scalian is hiring a System Engineering Manager to lead the definition, design, and validation of avionics system architectures within the aeronautics sector. You will structure critical embedded systems and ensure technical coherence across all subsystems.
What You'll Do
- Define the avionic system architecture and its interfaces for software, hardware, communication, and security.
- Participate in functional analyses and write system requirements using tools like DOORS and Polarion.
- Guarantee technical coherence between subsystems and their integration at the global level.
- Apply current aeronautical standards, including DO-178C, DO-254, ARP4754A, and ARP4761.
- Contribute to the validation and verification strategy for avionic systems.
- Participate in design reviews, safety analyses, and architecture justification.
- Collaborate closely with software, electronic, and integration teams.
What We're Looking For
- Graduate from an engineering school or equivalent Master's degree (Bac+5) in electronics, embedded systems, automation, or aeronautics.
- Significant experience (5+ years) in design and architecture of embedded systems in the aeronautical domain.
- Solid knowledge of standards DO-178C, DO-254, ARP4754A, and ARP4761.
- Skills in functional analysis, system modeling (SysML, UML) and associated tools (Capella, Enterprise Architect).
- Analytical mind, rigor, and ability to work in a demanding and collaborative environment.
- Good level of technical English, written and spoken.
