Role Overview
This is a senior leadership position overseeing one of the organization’s largest divisions, with responsibility for strategic direction, financial health, and client success. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Managing Director will guide a distributed team in a remote-first environment, ensuring alignment across operations, talent development, and technology integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the long-term vision and strategy for the performance marketing division
- Oversee financial performance, margin management, and sustainable growth
- Ensure delivery of high-impact results for clients, prioritizing retention and expansion
- Lead and develop VP-level leaders who manage distinct service areas
- Enhance operational efficiency through process refinement and technology adoption
- Integrate the Stratos platform into daily workflows to improve scalability and insight
- Support resource planning through pricing and resourcing desks
- Foster a culture rooted in accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- 5–10+ years of leadership experience in a marketing agency or services environment, with direct oversight of VP-level roles
- Strong foundation in B2B marketing principles and performance-driven campaigns
- Demonstrated integrity, work ethic, and strategic clarity across complex organizations
- Willingness to travel 1–2 times per month for client engagements, team meetings, and industry events
- Proficiency with laptop-based tools, including Zoom, Slack, and cloud-based software platforms
- Proven ability to lead remotely with impact and consistency
Work Environment
This role is fully remote, with team members across the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the UK.
