Responsibilities
- Act as the primary technical leader responsible for advancing and transforming enterprise IT systems at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
- Lead and manage architecture review boards to guide technical decision-making.
- Assess new and emerging technologies, with a focus on artificial intelligence and machine learning platforms and intelligent automation solutions.
- Ensure all technical systems comply with performance, security, and regulatory standards in support of the SEC’s data-centric objectives.
- Promote and implement modern architectural approaches such as microservices, event-driven design, API-first development, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Lead efforts to integrate artificial intelligence capabilities into the agency’s operational infrastructure.
- Collaborate with the SEC's AI Task Force and Chief Enterprise Technology Unit to align infrastructure planning with strategic modernization initiatives.
