About the Role

The role involves ensuring the stability, security, and performance of Linux-based systems supporting UNiCC operations through proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and system upgrades.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of Linux servers
  • Perform regular system updates and security patching
  • Troubleshoot and resolve server-related incidents promptly
  • Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations and procedures
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support service delivery
  • Implement and manage backup and recovery strategies
  • Enforce security policies and conduct vulnerability assessments
  • Configure and manage user access and permissions
  • Support deployment of new software and system enhancements
  • Optimize system performance and resource utilization
  • Participate in on-call rotation for incident response
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external standards
  • Administer virtualized environments and container platforms
  • Coordinate with vendors for hardware and software support
  • Assist in capacity planning and infrastructure scaling
