About the Role

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a strategic Senior Vice President of Sales for its Independent Hotels & Resorts division. This remote executive role provides leadership and direction for the entire independent property sales function, focusing on developing high-performing teams, driving industry-leading results, and ensuring exceptional owner satisfaction.

What You'll Do

  • Provide strategic direction and operational oversight to Regional Vice Presidents of Sales.
  • Direct Leisure Sales and National Group Sales teams, setting performance standards and optimizing revenue generation.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with key external partners like ALHI and third-party agencies.
  • Engage with major customers and group accounts to reinforce value and ensure long-term loyalty.
  • Work closely with the business development team on new deals and pitches, contributing sales expertise.
  • Mentor and support sales leaders and teams through coaching and professional development.
  • Monitor KPIs, analyze sales data, and implement action plans to achieve or exceed targets.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive sales leadership experience in the hotel or hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record managing large, geographically dispersed teams in independent hotel environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire, lead, and develop sales teams.
  • Deep understanding of independent hotel sales dynamics, market trends, and distribution channels.
  • Strong experience working cross-functionally across commercial disciplines like marketing, PR, digital, sales, and revenue.
  • Confident experience in owner engagement, pitch deck development, and customer presentations.
  • Adept in Delphi, PowerBI, TravelClick, Cvent, and similar hospitality tools.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to engage effectively with owners, external partners, and executive stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with sales technology platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools.
  • Access to high-speed internet and mobile phone.
  • Ability to travel onsite as needed, up to 80%.

Nice to Have

  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience with leisure and group sales highly desirable.

Team & Environment

You will manage Regional Vice Presidents of Sales, Leisure Sales, and National Group Sales teams, overseeing the entire sales function for independent properties, and report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer.
